Program Update

The Drive and Thrive program aims to support low-income women, especially <\/span>newcomers (less than 2 years in Canada) by offering reimbursement for driving lessons. The project covers all course fees, providing 20 hours of interactive in-class instruction, 10 hours of in-car <\/span>training, and preparation for the G2 driving exam. Do You Qualify?<\/h3>
You qualify if:<\/strong><\/span><\/div>
You are eligible if you have passed your G1 exam and are a newcomer woman in\u00a0 Canada i.e., less than 2 years, with limited income.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Program Criteria<\/h3>
  1. Enrollment Exam: Participants are expected to schedule and take the driver’s license enrollment exam within three weeks of joining the program.<\/li>
  2. Exam Retake: In the event of failing the exam, participants should attend a rewrite within three weeks to improve their chances of success.<\/li>
  3. Enroll in Driving School: Once participants have obtained their G1 license, they should enroll in a driving school to receive formal driving lessons.<\/li>
  4. G2 License Completion: After approximately eight months of passing the G1 license exam, participants are expected to complete the G2 license exam.<\/li>
  5. To be eligible for reimbursement, you must submit a sign-up receipt from the driving school that clearly indicates the lessons offered, complete vendor information, date of issue, and a detailed description of the items paid for. This information is essential for processing your reimbursement request effectively.<\/li>
  6. Upon enrolling in the Drive and Thrive program, you will have one year to complete the courses between G1 and G2. If the courses are not completed within this timeframe, you will be removed from the list.<\/li>
  7. We offer reimbursement only for successful attempts at each testing level.<\/li><\/ol><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
