Red Shawl is a women’s community organization whose mission is to inspire and equip women to build better communities

Red Shawl is offering e-Mentoring as an approach within their Sustainable Mentorship Model Initiative. The initiative is in line with the key recommendations from the recent study “Closing the Gap for Women in Peel; a gender-based analysis of income security and economic prospects”. The research project mobilized certain individuals in the community who wish to work with Red Shawl in future mentoring opportunities. This is a powerful outcome from the study which also highlighted the opportunity for Red Shawl to broaden the outreach of mentors towards women at grass-roots level seeking mentoring for their further development. Particular focus will be on Newcomers, Mature Students, and women contemplating Start-Ups

An opportunities for success for young women, seeking entrepreneurial and career growth avenues.

An innovative 5 month track features well versed and experienced individuals and thought leaders who will impart cutting edge thinking and real life experiences on today’s most meaningful and cutting edge skills for young women contemplating business/career growth.
